- Introduction to dressing types
The term "Amekaji" originated from a Japanese magazine and was transliterated from Japanese (AMEKAJI). In fact, this style is inherited from the American retro style. American retro originated from the attire of European and American workers in the mid to late 18th century, and later incorporated elements such as military uniforms, motorcycle suits, and Hawaiian style, forming a very representative style of clothing. Strictly speaking, American retro is not exactly equivalent to American khaki. After World War II, it was influenced by American culture and developed by the Japanese, forming this typical American style.
This style of wearing also has a specific image, commonly seen as a combination of denim jacket/work jacket/leather jacket+jeans/work pants+boots. The clothing style is relatively more fitting, giving people a tough feeling while also showing a slightly mature look. American retro is relatively niche, and most players have their own circle, usually searching for vintage items. They are not only satisfied with their own clothing, but also collect many early items from historical brands, such as Levi's jackets 50 years ago.
